Let’s first define spiritual warfare. This will enable both the natural man living in the flesh and the believer living in the Spirit to be on same page of understanding. The picture you see painted here is according to what is written in the Scriptures. Believing men and women have seen the same picture because they wrote the Scriptures under the inspiration of The Holy Spirit, and The Holy Spirit paints pictures for every generation to see.
In the beginning, and after The Holy Spirit recorded Adam and Eve’s fall from grace He recorded what God said to the Serpent! God said to the Serpent, “I will put enmity between thy seed and the seed of the woman!” That promise is still being fulfilled.
Spiritual warfare is between “the seeds” of the kingdom of Satan and ” the seeds” of the kingdom of Christ. All men and women always appear as “sinful seeds” in Satan’s kingdom first. That is, we all appear on the earth in our fallen nature first. Any sinner can be saved or redeemed and reappear in Christ’s kingdom by the miraculous “new birth” from above. The unredeemed represent the earthly defeated kingdom of Satan. The redeemed represent the Heavenly victorious kingdom of Christ.
Christ has already defeated Satan and his kingdom at the cross. It’s God’s good will to tell every living soul He has already provided and reserved a new Holy nature for them in Christ. That new Holy nature is the indwelling presence of The Holy Spirit within the redeemed of the earth.
Christ is the only Promised Seed, born of the woman, and conceived by The Holy Spirit. In the beginning, The Holy Spirit foretold of the coming of Christ into the world. Again, Christ is the seed of the woman! Any individual born again of the same Holy Spirit, is also sealed into the invisible body of Christ by the Holy Spirit. That spiritual, invisible, multicultural body of believers in the world is called His church.
It is Christ’s true church that advances His victorious kingdom on this earth. Satan is a fallen angel from Heaven and his seed, is the fallen man, born of Adam and Eve, wandering in spiritual darkness on the earth. According to the same Scriptures, the natural man is spiritually blind. He cannot discern the truth of God from the lies of Satan. It is written, “The natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness unto him. Neither can he know them for they are spiritually discerned.” The natural man must hear the Word of God before he can believe the Word of God because he is spiritually blind. Spiritual blindness is the primary reason why Christ commanded His followers to, “Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel and make disciples.”
“The seed” of the Serpent need to be redeemed for Christ sake and they need to hear His Words. Since the beginning, the natural man has always been against Christ and His church. Christ said, “the world hated Him without cause,” and speaking of believers said, “the world will hate you. Be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.”
In every human culture the natural man always follows after the traditions of men rather than obeying the voice of God. It is one thing if the natural man and woman, are ignorant of the Scriptures. It’s a whole different matter if the natural man chooses to walk in spiritual darkness and continues his assault on Christ’s church. The natural man identifies himself as part of the problem and not part of God’s plan of salvation freely extended to humanity through the preaching of the Gospel. Within the past forty or so years, Americans especially have seen increased activity and many examples of these two spiritual kingdoms battling for control of this country.
For example currently, Satan is setting up lukewarm churches in the Christian world. “His seeds” are assaulting the Constitution and the Declaration. In the political arena within the United States, we see “Satan’s seeds” on the extreme political left verses “the seeds of the woman” on the extreme political right. Satan and Christ are the two master minds and people are the pawns.
Satan is God of the multicultural Atheistic movement sweeping the world. Christ is the Living God of the multicultural Christian movement evangelizing the world. Both Gods are invisible. Both are advancing multicultural kingdoms on the earth and both multicultural kingdoms appear to be good for mankind. Because Satan and his seeds always appear as angels of light. Satan advances unbelief in God and Christ on every front. Christ advances belief in God on every front.
Christ said of His disciples, “Ye are the light of the world.” Every generation is engaged in spiritual warfare for the redemption of souls in their generation. It is also written in the Scriptures that Christ said, ” Marvel not, that I tell you, you must be born again or you can not see the Kingdom of God.”
